With a strong foundation in high-risk obstetrics and a deep commitment to patient-centered care, Ms. Byrd brings advanced clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to supporting women through every stage of life.
Meet Ky’ra Byrd, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Ky’ra Byrd is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for women’s health and a comprehensive background in high-risk obstetric care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University. With over six years of experience as a Registered Labor and Delivery Nurse in high-paced, high-volume hospital settings, Ms. Byrd brings exceptional clinical insight, critical thinking, and leadership to her work as a provider.
Ms. Byrd has completed extensive clinical training in pediatrics, primary care, and obstetrics/gynecology. Additionally, she has training and experience in prenatal and postpartum care, well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, and high-risk pregnancy management. Her background includes working with patients facing complex conditions such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and multiple gestations. Ms. Byrd is also experienced in managing gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and peri-menopausal symptoms.
Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Ms. Byrd is committed to empowering patients through education and collaborative care. She is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and has served in several leadership roles focused on quality improvement and patient advocacy.
