Ky’ra Byrd, FNP-BC

About the provider

Ky’ra Byrd is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for women’s health and a strong background in high-risk obstetric care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University. With over six years of experience as a Registered Labor and Delivery Nurse in high-paced, high-volume hospital settings, Ms. Byrd brings exceptional clinical insight, critical thinking, and leadership to her work as a provider. Ms. Byrd has completed extensive clinical training in pediatrics, primary care, and obstetrics/gynecology. Additionally, she has training and experience in prenatal and postpartum care, well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, and high-risk pregnancy management. Her background includes working with patients facing complex conditions such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and multiple gestations. Ms. Byrd is also experienced in managing gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and peri-menopausal symptoms. Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Ms. Byrd is committed to empowering patients through education and collaborative care. She is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and has served in several leadership roles focused on quality improvement and patient advocacy.
