Happy April Everyone
The first quarter of 2023 has been one of growth and development for MyCHN. We have opened new dental clinics, pharmacies, and clinic sites. We have brought in additional providers for all departments to expand access to care. We have launched a new services line and are deep into developing exciting new offerings to be released in the coming months. On the technical side, we have transferred our phone system to a more stable and agile platform and made significant improvements to our EHR System with upgrades to IC-E III. Additionally, our CRM (customer resource manager) and internal resource manager platforms are in final development for release.
MyCHN officially launched our MyCHN Concierge Access in 2023. This subscription-based primary care service allows unlimited virtual visits and basic labs up to four times yearly (https://myconciergeaccess.com). Patients using the service also have access to our pharmacies that provide treatment options at the best cost. We will be rolling out new plans to address behavioral health and oral health in the future. Also coming very soon is our functional medicine platform. New Providers & Locations
MyCHN continues moving forward in providing comprehensive whole-person care to the communities we serve. Earlier this month, we welcomed Stephani Bradley, a family nurse practitioner, and her staff to our organization. Ms. Bradley has operated her clinic in Lake Jackson for the past 19 years. Ms. Bradley and her staff also provide occupational medicine to the Brazosport area. In the coming year, we will add pharmacy and behavioral healthcare to that location. Â MyCHN is excited to have them join us and help expand our services to the people of the Brazosport area.
We will be opening a second Angleton location on May 1st. Our existing clinic in Angleton, MyCHN Internal Medicine and Primary Care is at 2020 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX. Dr. Raj Mikkilineni leads this clinic, and she has been practicing in Angleton since 1982. Dr. Mikkilineni is board certified in Internal Medicine. This clinic primarily serves adults with chronic illnesses, including diabetes, heart disease, COPD, and arthritis.
The new location is located just off State Hwy. 288 at 4005 Technology Dr. Ste. 1190, Angleton, TX 77515, at the Central Brazoria County Business Park. This beautiful new clinic will provide whole-person care for men, women, and children. Services will include medical, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy. We currently have two full-time providers for this clinic. Dr. Kymberly Butler, family medicine, and Annaliese Hulse. Dr. Butler is new to MyCHN but not new to medicine. She has tremendous experience and is a welcome addition to our staff. Annaliese Hulse FNP-C is a tenured provider of MyCHN and has worked in Alvin’s Women and Children’s Clinic. As she transitions to the Angleton site, she will be replaced at the Women and Children’s Clinic by Mya Grigsby, a family nurse practitioner.
In addition to Ms. Bradley and Dr. Butler, MyCHN has brought in several new providers since the new year to expand access to patient care. The Scarsdale Family Health Center added a full-time general dentist to its staff, Dr. Ahmed El Zawi, and a full-time pediatrician Dr. Ana Flores. The Freeport Family Health Center has added Dr. Jakob Jalowy as a new part-time dentist and Briana Jones as a full-time family nurse practitioner. Joining the Pearland Family Health Center is Dr. Courtney Jacocks, who will provide general dentistry, and Tanya Rollins, a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Erika Paz has joined MyCHN League City as a behavioral health therapist. Ashley Cockrell is a family nurse practitioner that will support various clinics in the Pearland, Scarsdale, and League City areas.
Unfortunately, we saw two beloved providers leave our practice this first quarter. Dr. Mohammed Zebda, a pediatrician who served our Scarsdale clinic, and Jessica Castaneda, FNP, have taken excellent care of our patients at the Adoue Family Health Center for the past ten years. MyCHN wishes them well as they pursue new journeys and opportunities.
