Mya Grigsby is a family nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed to practice in Texas. She began her career with a bachelor’s degree in nursing that she earned from Prairie View A&M University in 2015. During her time at Prairie View, she began volunteering with the Fort Bend Women’s Shelter where she mentored women and children. Her nursing experience includes Medical Surgical/Post Op, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery, Obstetric Triage, and Antepartum nursing at West Houston Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital. She graduated with her master’s degree in nursing from Houston Baptist University in 2021. Mya is passionate about patient advocacy and autonomy. She believes in working as a team with her patients to reach their health goals.
