She will be providing care for patients at MyCHN’s newest clinic location in Houston, MyCHN Woodforest. Her arrival marks an exciting expansion of MyCHN’s commitment to accessible, compassionate, and expert care for women across all life stages.
Meet Dr. Obukofe, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Christie E. Obukofe is a Board-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with decades of experience delivering compassionate, expert care to women throughout every stage of life. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her OB/GYN residency training through both San Joaquin General Hospital in California and the University of Texas LBJ Program in Houston.
Dr. Obukofe has served in leadership roles within hospital OB/GYN departments and brings a strong background in both clinical care and health system collaboration. Her dedication to women’s health is also reflected in her active participation in professional organizations such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and her service on advisory committees for Texas Children’s Health Plan and Amerigroup.
With a passion for reproductive health, prenatal care, and patient advocacy, Dr. Obukofe provides women with individualized, culturally sensitive care that promotes both wellness and empowerment.
