MyCHN Welcomes Patria Lewis, LPS, to Behavioral Health Team, Expanding Access to Expert Mental Health Support for Youth and Adults Press Release

Houston, TX, November 21st, 2024 – MyCHN is proud to announce the addition of Patria Lewis, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPS), to its dedicated behavioral health team. Lewis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, specializing in areas including ADHD, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and a range of other mental health and co-occurring disorders. Her presence on the team will further enhance MyCHN’s mission to provide accessible care to patients of all ages.

Patria Lewis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of experience working with diverse populations, including children, youth, families, military veterans, and incarcerated individuals. She specializes in treating ADHD, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, self-esteem challenges, parent-child relationship issues, and co-occurring mental health conditions. 

Ms. Lewis holds a Master of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College, which she earned in 2019. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2022 and is also a certified Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor. 

Guided by her core professional values of ethics, integrity, person-centered care, and solution-focused collaboration, Patria takes a compassionate and innovative approach to therapy. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), goal-oriented techniques, and client-focused strategies to help individuals achieve positive outcomes. 

Committed to professional growth and community advocacy, Ms. Lewis actively participates in mental health training, workshops, and local initiatives related to awareness and education. She is also a proud member of the Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS). 

Ms. Lewis’ mission is to empower individuals and families to overcome challenges, build resilience, and thrive. Whether working with young children or adults, her dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment makes her a trusted advocate and partner in mental health care.
