Community Health Network Welcomes New Providers

Alvin, TX, December 1st, 2021—Community Health Network is expanding; this time, new providers have joined the team. With them, they bring a holistic, patient-centered approach to practice at various CHN locations. The new providers are certified in multiple fields ranging from dental, family medicine, and pediatrics. Their expertise fortifies the services and professional standards at CHN. Furthermore, the growth in providers allows CHN to provide their services to more patients while maintaining their commitment to offering quality care.

Victor Varghese (PMHNP-BC) 

Victor Varghese is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He graduated from Maryville University St. Louis in 2019. He has over 13 years of nursing experience in inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization unit, cardiac ICU, telemetry, dialysis, rehabilitation, and medical-surgical. Soon after his graduation, Varghese worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Clear Lake Hospital and Mainland Medical Center, later he joined one of the reputable outpatient psychiatric clinics in Houston before joining Community Health Network. Victor Varghese will be practicing at CHN’s Southern Region 

Crystal Teague (VMSN, APRN, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner) 

Crystal Teague, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is currently licensed to practice in Texas. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2016. Her nursing experience spans several specialties including cardiology, postpartum care, and neonatology. Crystal earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Texas A&M University in 2014. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She again attended the University of Texas Medical Branch to earn her Master of Science in Nursing. Crystal currently practices in Women’s Services at Community Health Network’s Scarsdale Clinic. She has a passion for health education, holistic and preventative healthcare, and women’s health. 

Community Health Network is a system of federally qualified health clinics located in Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris Counties that provide pharmacy, primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, men’s health, senior health, oral health care, psychiatry, and therapy. Community Health Network is dedicated to developing systems of care that are of high value to the people we serve. CHN accepts Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, private insurance, and self-payments. Individuals and families that are uninsured may be eligible for care at a discounted price.  Patients ineligible for discount pricing will find substantial value and savings for office visits, lab costs, and pharmacy pricing.
