Speaking of events in the community, a live music and movie night event in Alvin, TX, is happening Friday, August 5th, 2022. MyCHN is inviting families in the Alvin community for one more summer activity before the school year ends. The Black Friday Project band performs at 6 pm. Before the movie starts, there will be family-friendly activities for you and your family to participate join.  Â
There will be food trucks around. So, you don’t have to worry about bringing snacks. Then the movie begins at 8 pm and finishes at 11 pm. So, you can bring a blanket or some outdoor chairs and relax and watch the film. The movie for this night is The Mitchells vs. The Machines.  Â
