Heidy Soto is an Integrated Dental Hygienist who is focused on providing whole-person care to all CHN patients. She obtained her bachelor’s in dental hygiene from Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. She has lived in East Texas most of her life and practiced as a hygienist at a family-owned private practice for three years. Before moving to Houston, she also worked in higher education as a part-time clinical professor at Tyler Junior College. Soto’s mission is to increase oral health awareness and access to oral health care among communities to improve the population’s oral and overall health. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking with her dog Sammy, traveling, hiking, bouldering, kayaking, and reading in a hammock.

My philosophy of care is educating the public about the link between oral and systemic health and helping patients obtain access to oral health care.
