Evelyn George, Family Nurse Practitioner, received her family nursing degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in Houston, TX. George practiced nursing for nine years before she returned to school to receive her Master’s in 2018. Since then, George has actively been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is back at MyCHN. George works with patients of all ages to provide chronic and acute medical diagnoses. She actively participates in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and Houston Area Nurse Practitioners. Evelyn George believes in providing quality, patient-centered, whole-person care and has proudly received the Shining Start Award at MyCHN.
Philosophy of Care
Whole-person care is a large part of MyCHN and how I care for my patients. I believe that in order to treat my patients properly, I must look at the whole person and provide them with individualized care.
