About the provider

Demeatraus Minter (Demi Minter) holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with Honors. She attended Howard University working towards her Master’s degree in School of Social Work for a year, and Bowie State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology on the Dean’s list.

She specializes in Co-Occurring disorders (Mental Health and Substance Abuse). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) in the state of Texas and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (L.C.D.C.). She is also a National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.). She has over 25 years of experience in the field of Mental Health and 15 years of experience in Addiction treatment. Formerly, she was the Detox clinic administrator with the Center for Health Care services for 41/2 years in San Antonio, Texas. She currently works as the Lead Behavioral Health Therapist for the Community Health Network.
