New Pediatrician Coming to League City

League City, TX, October 11, 2022 — MyCHN (Community Health Network) is excited to announce a change in pediatric health coming to League City. Dr. Shari Jackson is moving from our Women’s and Children’s Center in Alvin, TX, to MyCHN League City in League City, TX, on Monday, October 31, 2022. Dr. Jackson has been a part of the MyCHN family for eight years. She loves pediatric medicine and providing her patients and families with compassionate care; she is one of the most loved and top pediatricians at MyCHN and in the Alvin-Manvel, TX area. For the past four years, Dr. Jackson has been recognized as one of the top pediatricians in Alvin-Manvel, TX. We are glad to have her lead the Pediatric Care Leadership at MyCHN. She will now provide her fantastic pediatric services at our League City Location. 

The Alvin community will have a new pediatrician practicing at the Women and Children’s Health Center in Alvin, TX. More information on the arrival of our latest pediatrician is soon to come.

Dr. Shari Jackson M.D, F.A.A.P. Pediatrician

Dr. Shari Jackson has been a Pediatric Doctor since 1999. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Jackson served in the U.S. Army as a General Pediatrician, the Officer in Charge of the Pediatric Clinic at Womack Army Medical Center, and was the Medical Director of the Exceptional Family Members program, which linked soldiers with special needs children with assignments that accommodated their medical needs. In addition to this, she has a passion for teaching. She trained pediatric residents at Yale University School of Medicine and the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Jackson has been a part of Community Health Network since 2014 and provides amazing care to many children. Furthermore, she continues her love of teaching medicine by training the next generation of physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Dr. Jackson has been recognized as one of the top pediatricians in the Alvin-Manvel area for four consecutive years – 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
