Houston, TX, June 9th, 2023 – MyCHN proudly announces its newest professional addition to its behavioral/mental health team, Dr. Kimm Perez. Dr. Perez is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP-S). Dr. Perez is passionate about mental health and ensuring that there are resources to better the community.

Dr. Kimm M. Perez is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP-S). Dr. Perez holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from Capella University and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. She is a passionate behavioral health practitioner in psychology with experience in the criminal justice setting, community treatment, and outreach work. Dr. Perez has over ten years of professional experience that includes mental health assessments, behavioral groups, individual treatment using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), motivational modalities, and other evidence-based practices. In her advocacy work, she has particularly focused on the various mental health facets of law enforcement and minorities within the criminal justice systems and religious organizations.
