Meet Salihah Akinretoye, FNP
Salihah Akinretoye is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care across the patient’s lifespan. She earned both her Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and brings over a decade of healthcare experience to her practice.
Ms. Akinretoye began her career in the operating room, where she served in advanced clinical roles at Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital and Ben Taub Hospital, gaining expertise in surgical care and patient advocacy. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, she has provided evidence-based primary care, chronic disease management, and preventive health education in outpatient settings. She is also a Certified DOT Medical Examiner and holds active Basic Life Support certification.
Known for her approachable and empathetic manner, Ms. Akinretoye is passionate about patient education and improving health outcomes through collaboration and individualized care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and Texas Nurses Association.
