MyCHN CCBHC and CARF Accreditation Recognition, Reinforcing Commitment to Quality Care and Community Support Press Release

Houston, TX, October 25th, 2024 – MyCHN is proud to announce that it has met all required components to achieve certification through the state of Texas as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In addition, MyCHN has achieved a prestigious three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, which applies to the following programs:

  • Integrated Behavioral Health Program
  • Opioid Based Opioid Treatment
  • Governance Standards applied

 

These significant milestones highlight MyCHN’s unwavering dedication to quality care and its vital role in providing community support.

Since September 29, 2022, MyCHN expanded its crisis services, initiated integrating qualified mental health professionals, targeted case management, and peer support services, and developed a collaboration with the Alvin Police Department for a jail diversion program to effectively address community mental health needs. To date, the MyCHN CCBHC program has served 15158 individuals. The CARF program has served 900 individuals for office based opioid treatment and 700 individuals in the integrated behavioral health program demonstrating a strong community impact.   

MyCHN utilizes smart technology for data reporting and partners with Wysa for AI-driven patient engagement. The organization develops strong community partnerships that improve access to essential services and actively seeks innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes.
