I had the privilege of witnessing Lynn’s care for a new patient who shared that he was struggling financially. When it came time to pick up his prescription, the cost was over $70, which the patient could not afford. He was prepared to leave without it, despite the provider stressing how important the medication was for his health. Lynn took the time to call the patient back and compassionately reassured him that we would waive his prescription fee for one month while he gathered the necessary documents for his upcoming eligibility appointment. The patient was very grateful for everyone who helped him that day, but especially expressed his gratitude for Lynn’s kindness and compassion.
