With her extensive background in counseling and clinical expertise, Ms. Jenkins-Pratt brings over a decade of experience providing compassionate, solution-focused care to children, adolescents, and adults.
Carla Jenkins-Pratt is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California, with over a decade of experience providing compassionate, solution-oriented care. Throughout her career, Ms. Jenkins-Pratt has demonstrated a deep commitment to supporting individuals across the lifespan, from children to adults, representing diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She gained a breadth of experience working in a range of populations, to include educational institutions, corporate wellness programs, nonprofit organizations, hospitals/healthcare facilities, military bases, and correctional facilities. Ms. Jenkins-Pratt is dedicated to providing culturally responsive, client-centered care has made her a trusted professional in the mental health field.
Ms. Jenkins-Pratt holds a Master of Education in Community and School Counseling from Texas Southern University, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Public Administration with a focus on auditing from Louisiana State University. She has continued to deepen her expertise through extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based practices, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman couples therapy, trauma-informed care, neurofeedback, and mediation. Ms. Jenkins-Pratt is also certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
She specializes in treating a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, anger management, grief, and life transitions
Ms. Jenkins-Pratt is committed to continuous learning and innovation. She regularly attends professional development workshops and training to stay current with evidence-based practices and expand her ability to meet the needs of her clients. Her unique blend of experience, compassion, and expertise equips her to guide individuals toward healing and fulfillment.
