About the provider

Myra Taylor is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background in family medicine, women’s health, and high-risk obstetric care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Ms. Taylor has extensive experience caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with specialized expertise in women’s health and maternal care. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive primary care services, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, pap smears, and diagnostic evaluations.

In addition to her work as a nurse practitioner, Ms. Taylor has served as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, where she cared for high-risk antepartum patients and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary care teams. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of St. Thomas, helping mentor and educate future nurses.
