Zavera McDonald is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience providing holistic care to patients across the lifespan. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Prairie View A&M University and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University. Her diverse clinical background includes primary care, urgent care, behavioral health, school-based pediatrics, and correctional medicine.
Ms. McDonald is passionate about delivering integrated care that addresses both physical and mental health needs. She has provided primary care services for patients of all ages while also conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD through evidence-based treatment. Known for her compassionate approach, Ms. McDonald believes in meeting patients where they are and building lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
