Jaclyn Tran Hung, DDS

Jaclyn Tran Hung is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with extensive experience providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care for children, including those with special healthcare needs. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UT Health San Antonio and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at UTHealth Houston, where she trained at Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. She also holds a Master of Science in Dentistry, with her research focused on temperament as a predictor of dental sedation outcomes. Dr. Hung offers a full range of pediatric dental services, including preventive care, restorative treatment, frenectomies, nitrous oxide sedation, and in-office general anesthesia. Her clinical background includes providing care in both private practice and hospital settings, and she is committed to creating a positive, safe dental experience for every child. Beyond clinical care, Dr. Hung is passionate about outreach and education. She has led and participated in numerous dental mission trips and community health initiatives, and has been honored with multiple awards for her academic excellence, leadership, and teaching contributions. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
