Angleton, TX, June 20th, 2025 – MyCHN is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Mischion Murphy, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, to our Southern Region clinical team. Ms. Murphy brings over a decade of experience in acute and primary care and is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families across their lifespan.Â
Meet Mischion Murphy, FNP-C
Mischion Murphy is committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. With over a decade of experience in intensive and step-down care units, Ms. Murphy brings a strong acute care foundation to her current primary and family medicine role.Â
Ms. Murphy’s clinical background includes extensive work in hospitals across Texas and the U.S., managing patients with complex conditions in step-down and ICU environments. Her advanced training includes clinical rotations in pediatrics, family practice, women’s health, urgent care, and telemedicine. She is skilled in a wide range of procedures such as pelvic exams, suturing, musculoskeletal assessments, and chronic disease screenings.Â
As a provider, Ms. Murphy is known for her calm, patient-focused approach and ability to build strong, trusting relationships. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Houston Area Nurse Practitioner Association, and the National Black Nurse Practitioner Association.Â
