Spearheading this initiative is Dr. Deepali Tukaye, MD, an esteemed cardiologist with over two decades of experience. Dr. Tukaye’s expertise and commitment to patient-centered care make her an exceptional addition to MyCHN’s growing team of specialists.
The Cardiology service line at MyCHN offers a wide range of specialized services, including the diagnosis and management of hypertension, coronary artery disease, hypertensive heart disease, congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and more. Patients can also receive screenings and prevention services for specific heart diseases, initial diagnostic evaluations for cardiovascular symptoms, and chronic follow-up care for complex cardiovascular issues. In order for patients to receive the most comprehensive care, an in-house referral is required to schedule an appointment with our cardiology specialist.
Dr. Deepali Tukaye, MD, has over 21 years of experience and is currently practicing in the southeast Houston metro area, including League City, TX. A graduate of M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India, Dr. Tukaye earned her medical degree with highest honors and further specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolism. She pursued her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, solidifying her foundation in medical research and academic excellence.
Dr. Tukaye completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University. Her training continued at the renowned Emory Andreas Gruentzig Cardiovascular Center, where she specialized in Interventional Cardiology. She holds board certifications from the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
With a clinical focus on the interventional management of adult coronary, structural, pulmonary, and peripheral vascular diseases, Dr. Tukaye is well-versed in the latest advancements in cardiology. Her research interests lie in preconditioning, ischemia-reperfusion pathophysiology, and vascular biology, areas in which she has contributed significantly through publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Tukaye’s dedication to education and research has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha post-doctoral research award.
