LaShonsa VanHook is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor passionate about assisting individuals facing health challenges, chemical dependence issues, and vocational rehabilitation needs. She has been working with patients for over 5 years and has developed a passion for working with Veterans. After graduating with a B.S. in Psychology from Lamar University in 2009 and earning her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2017, LaShonda brings diverse expertise and training when working with her patients.
LaShonda’s professional journey includes counseling Veterans, Acceptance Therapy Technique Training, Marriage and Family Counseling, and more. However, her commitment to serving others extends beyond her professional role. She is an active member of her community, having served as a certified therapeutic foster care and transitional life care provider. She is currently working at the VA clinic with Veterans as a care coordinator, facilitating a multidisciplinary team – Psychiatrists, LPC, Social workers, and Psychologists. This deep involvement in her community, coupled with her diverse background, underscores LaShonda VanHook’s wealth of experience and expertise.
