Pasadena, TX, July 19th – MyCHN is glad to welcome Ashely Cockrell to the medical team. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Vanderbilt University and has years of experience in medical mission and professional work. Ashely has a passion, especially for serving the women and children in the community. She is multi-lingual and is excited to serve our patients at our new location in Pasadena – MyCHN Pasadena.

Ashley Cockrell is a Family Nurse practitioner who attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate degrees in Medicine, Health & Society with a minor in Spanish. In her junior year, Ashley spent time abroad in Xela, Guatemala, and Kampala, Uganda, where she completed mission work providing health services at local clinics. It was during this time that her passion for providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities was ignited. Ashley later attended Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s accelerated nursing program to obtain her master’s degree in their dual Nurse-Midwifery and Family Nurse Practitioner program. From there, she has continued her work in serving the communities in Houston and surrounding areas. Cockrell especially enjoys providing care to women and children. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys traveling the world, writing, taking walks with her dog Bella, and spending time with her loved ones.
