The Expression Intensive Outpatient Program

The Expression is a unique Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at MyCHN Angleton Oasis designed to support the emotional and mental health of children (ages 6–11) and teens (ages 12–18) through creative, expressive therapy.

Every Saturday 8am-12pm

The Expression Circle (Ages 6–11)

This morning program is built for young children to explore and express big emotions through imagination, movement, and play. 

The Art Circle (8–9 AM)

Feelings come to life through color, texture, and creative exploration.

The Story Circle (9–10 AM)

Kids turn thoughts into stories, learning how to process emotions through words.

The Music Circle (10–11 AM)

Music helps children connect with their feelings — and each other.

The Movement Circle (11 AM–12 PM)

Through dance and mindfulness, kids release energy and build emotional awareness.

The Expression Collective (Ages 12–18)

Afternoons are dedicated to teens, offering space for self-expression, identity exploration, and emotional healing in a creative and judgment-free zone. 

The Art Collective (1–2 PM)

Teens express themselves through painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

The Story Collective (2–3 PM)

Journaling, storytelling, and spoken words turn experience into empowerment.

The Music Collective (3–4 PM)

Music-making and songwriting help release emotions and build connections.

The Movement Collective (4–5 PM)

Yoga, dance, and mindful movement allow teens to reconnect with their bodies and reduce stress.

We Accept Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP

Whether your child needs full-day therapeutic support or could benefit from attending just one group per week, Oasis can meet them where they are.  

Our licensed mental health professionals lead each group with care, creativity, and trauma-informed expertise.
